This was part of DrJiang's research efforts to grow American ginseng in an organic manner.

The ginseng was first nurtured for three years from seeds to rootlets, then let grow for two more years in an organic manner to ensure its unique quality. 

The Green Grade is about half the size of the regular five year root like the Earle Claw.
