The Classic Mint Julep
  • 3-4 Fresh mint leaves
  • 2.5 oz. Bourbon whiskey
  • 2 Sugar cubes or 1/2 oz. simple syrup
  • Mint spring for garnish
  • Crushed ice
  • Add fresh mint leaves, sugar cubes or simple syrup into a julep cup. Muddle the ingredients well to dissolve the sugar and to release the oil and aroma of the mint. Fill the cup with crushed ice, pour bourbon over ice. Garnish with a mint spring, insert straw and enjoy!
